1. In all cases, without exception, licences in markets revert to Government on the death of the original licensee whether the license were granted before or after the issue of the notification of the 28th Novr 1882.

2. Under the circumstances and seeing that the rent for the current month has already been paid, there is no objection to Mr Chiu Kam Tong's carrying on business till the 30th inst.
